All these new components are fully interchangeable with the original MCS

The Moisture Control System (MCS) has been designed and developed with you, the piper, in mind.

It offers the following benefits:

  • Non-bulky, lightweight system

The flexi-connector fits on to the bottom of your drone stock and the MCS2 attaches to this.

Quick Stop Drone Valve

The Quick Stop drone Valve has been developed as an integral part of the MCS to assist with clean starts and cut-offs. You can adjust the tension of the valve through the new screw feature.

A tight fit of the MCS is essential to optimise the benefits of the system and the flexi-connector provides this.
You can, if desired, insert the connectors directly into the drone stock by applying black hemp.

 

Cartridge

Cartridge

The gel filled cartridge section can now be fitted to the connector. The effective playing time of the cartridge will vary according to how wet a blower you are.

The Chanter Moisture Control System (CMCS) has been designed to help reduce moisture from your pipe bag reaching the chanter reed. This complements the drone moisture control system and offers the following benefits:

  • Keeps chanter reed drier longer

System Description:
Moist air is filtered through the gel filled cartridge section, then on through the flexi-tube which connects to the chanter stock.

For extended play time, Combine both Chanter and Drone Moisture Control Systems.
